Malignant Glioma

Malignant Glioma is a common sub-type of primary brain tumors which present with neurological deficits, headache and epilepsy. Diagnosed on CT scan and MRI of the brain and treatment is excision biopsy and radio-chemotherapy. These are the MRI and CT scan images of a 50 year old male with a large malignant Glioma. The tumor was excised using the tumor Fluorescence method and total excision was confirmed on the post CT scan. The patient underwent radiotherapy and no tumor was detected after one year on MRI.
